Mark Fisher, who has died aged 66, was an acclaimed creator of live rock shows, designing spectacular, complex and often startling stage sets for the Jean Michel Jarre, Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd.

The great Mark Fisher just passed away. He has been one of the most creative designer of concerts.
He had a dimension and a vision. I was lucky to meet the man with the crew of the show 'The Wall Live in Dortmund' by Pink Floyd, Westfalenhalle, Germany February 18 1981.

Jean-Michel Jarre and I had dinner after the show at his table. The purpose of our trip was to see what Mark had designed for the show, in view of the scheduled concerts in China for which he was choosen by JM Jarre to be in charge of the visual concept.

Not only Mark was a hugely talented concert designer but he was also a very nice soft speaking person. His work will remain in the rock scene history.
